Seneca's leave of the server marked the end of an era, and with it the server changed greatly under Nigmar. While it is not Seneca's leave nor Nigmar's rule that lead the server to die alone, it was the natural cycle of things that were going towards the inevitable death of the server.
Despite it being Pizza's choice to end Little Venezia permanently, it had lasted a good two and half years as a community where it went from a small server, to small growth, then rapid growth, then stagnation, and ultimately decay as many great empires have done. It may be argued that Little Venezia could have been revived in the summer when newfags flood in, school is no longer in session, and people can play vidya, the direction the server was heading in was ultimately death anyways. Pizza was criticized and perhaps will be hated for his choice to end the server, but ultimately it is his wisdom and choice to considering he has been in these kind of servers before and knewi it was time. Little Venezia lost its purpose and passion now only serving a few active members who now resides in the residual embers of the once, great uniting flame of Little Venezia. And, for reasons I can not disclose here, it is for the best that server of Little Venezia no longer exists, and that the members are scattered and forget what did happen there beyond the good memories that were made.
With the events transpiring on 6/6/2023 and the server being nuked at midnight, the active members have fleed elsewhere seeking solace in what remains of the community in a more tight-knit aspect. Nigmar has fled the remains of Little Venezia to create Nigmaria after his namesake which with any luck will last more than half a year before dying.
Death is a new beginning, and thus we begin again anew elsewhere. Good night, Venezia.
